Had this one half finished collecting dust in my basement for a year before I came back around to. I kinda got to a point where I wanted to finish off any artistic loose ends. It ended up working out for the better, because I was at a mental place to really put a lot of effort into the piece. Around the same time I also started thinking about the whole picture. I want the whole construction of the painting to be held to the same level as the image itself.

I kept the process neat, threw a few layers of poly on it, got a custom frame made and here we are. This piece represents a reinvigorated approach to painting. I look forward to holding myself to a higher standard!
